Chick-Fil-A Coming to Cameron Village
It’s been a long time coming, but I’ve confirmed that Chick-Fil-A will indeed be coming to Cameron Village. A year ago word was that they would occupy the old dry cleaners site behind McDonalds (map it). There is no indication that anything has changed. The only clue I got was that the plans reveal a two-story store with a very glassy dining area that extends over the drive-thru line.

Yum! Campus Chik-Fil-A just doesn’t cut it.

I wonder where all the campers will sleep trying to be the first customers. I know at the new Southpoint location, there was a large number of tents just to the left of the Chic-Fil-A in the days leading up to the opening.
I find the idea of giving one free Chic-Fil-A meal a week to the first 100 customers a brilliant marketing scheme seeing the event that this has developed into. There were news crews and everything out there.

Don’t know if you read the N&O today. They have a rendering of the new Chick-Fil-A on the back page of the Business section.
