Steve Winwood/Tom Petty Coming to Walnut Creek

Steve_WinwoodTom_PettyThe first Walnut Creek announcement is out and it’s a good one! On July 12, 2008 Steve Winwood and Tom Petty will be coming. No word on ticket info yet, but the amphitheater’s terrible website should have info as soon as the formal announcement is made.

    Just saw an awesome documentary on Tom Petty that was 3 or 4 hours long. I am not big on dropping big cash to see concerts but I think we’ll make an exception this time… We have seen TP before and he’s great live.

    Petty is well worth seeing. Great every time – BUT with Winwood – a must see. I have no doubt that after Winwood opens, Petty will bring him onstage with him. Steve Winwood is absolutely awesome. A MUST see!!!!!
