Yamaguchi Wins "Dancing"

image Raleigh resident Kristi Yamaguchi was the winner of this year’s Dancing With The Stars TV series on ABC. She was the overwhelming odds-on favorite to win it all this year, and consistently surpassed expectations each week. In the season finale Monday night, Yamaguchi and partner Mark Ballas performed and incredibly difficult cha cha routine, and executed it masterfully.

Yamaguchi is married to Carolina Hurricane defenseman Bret Hedican, who is currently contemplating retirement. It is assumed that the family will return to Florida once Hedican retires to be closer to family.

    I think the family is going to return to California not Florida when Hedican retires.

    I thought this was great except for the overly excited partner Mark Ballas who kept picking her up and kissing her and grabbing her. You could tell she looked uncomfortable. I thought Bret might come over and “check” him against the judges table.

    I think Adam Corrola coming out on a unicycle dressed as Zorro was the other highlight of the night. Well, that and Marlee Matlin………my goodness !!!!!!
