Longbranch Shuts Down
Earlier in the year the Longbranch file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, but it wasn’t enough. As the N&O’s David Menconi reports, local country hotspot The Longbranch has shut its doors.

Hasn’t this happened umpteen times during Longbranch’s long existence, and always result in them reopening a couple months later under “new management” or something?

The fact that this place bit it and Hideaway did as well punctuates the fact that people are getting sick of country music, alt-country music, etc.

If only they had agreed to “pull a Kimbrells furniture” and run drugs through the establishment, they would still be around.
