GreenDrinks Getting Together Thursday
Tomorrow night’s get-together at the will feature the new Sustainability Initiatives Manager for the City of Raleigh, Paula Thomas. Paula will discuss the City of Raleigh’s vision, upcoming projects, initiatives and plans for sustainability including LEED, GHG emissions reduction, renewable energy, etc.
Thomas has over 25 years of experience in environmental policy, program development and management. Prior to joining the City of Raleigh, she served as the Sustainability Administrator for Orange Water and Sewer Authority in Chapel Hill/Orange County and worked as the Environmental Policy Director for the NC League of Municipalities.
Hang out afterward and watch the NCSU/FSU game (ESPN at 7:30) on one of Buckhead’s six projection screens and 12 plasmas.
