MINI Coming to Raleigh

mini Jack Hagel reports in today’s N&O that Flow Automotive (from Winston-Salem) has purchased the former O’Neal Saab dealership on Capital Boulevard, across from Leith Automotive. The article reports that almost half of Flow Mini’s MINI’s customers are from the Triangle.

    YES! I was just over in Winston-Salem for a quick warranty fix. The service writer confirmed that they would be opening up in Raleigh in 2010, but wasn’t sure yet exactly where. I had heard earlier reports from the Triangle chapter of one of the MINI (yes, it is MINI, not Mini) clubs that it would be a Cary location, but the Capital Blvd location is fine with me!

    Hallelujah! I’ve been driving back and forth to Winston-Salem for 7 years while they’ve been telling me they were coming to the Triangle the whole time.

    It will be awesome to be able to get that free, all-included service MIMI provides locally!

    Those are just the coolest little cars. I keep telling my girlfriend she needs to get one someday – now we’ll have a place to go when “someday” arrives. :)
