Are we no longer calling this area Waverly in an effort to avoid casting an omen to new business?

nm, it’s not Waverly, it’s down the road.

My husband and I went there for lunch yesterday – delicious! The food is authentic, the service was great (we were served by a lovely lady with a strong bavarian accent, presumably one of the owners). I had the jagerschnitzel, which was excellent. My husband, who had never had German food before, said his steak sandwich was fantastic (the steak had been marinated and was juicy). We both shared the apple struedel, which is homemade and delicious!

Oh I so have to try this out. I could use some good bratwurst mit rotkraut. Maybe they’ll have my back on this.

Sweet I’m looking forward to trying this place out. I’ve been craving some german-ish food but I’m too cheap to pony up for J Betskis
Thx!

Sweet! I haven’t had a decent brat in years. It kind of screws you up when your first taste of bratwurst is at 4 years old and its from a street vendor in the Nuremberg market square… from then on, being handed a Johnsville brats make you want to stab people in the eye. Will definitely check this out soon.

We went tonight. Ambiance – A. Food – B+. Service – C-. Price – D. Definitely not someplace we’ll frequent at their prices, but the food was good and it’s always nice to have an option for something different in Cary.
