I meant I just never paid much attention to them. It was not intended to be sarcastic. LOL

I meant to contrast that with my thoughts above - of which I have a strong opinion. I was too busy listening to new wave music and classic rock (what was considered classic then).

No opinion? Are you kidding? They have not one, but TWO umlauts! That means they are _serious_ about rocking.

Dana, your inclusion of historical names spurred me to comment on how I treat corporate sponsorship names. I ignore them. I think that it is sad that they have become so common and that as citizens we often find ourselves as involuntary marketers for companies whether we are for their products or not. As taxpayers, we likely foot the bill for a large portion of the stadium or theater that gets the name slapped on it. I would encourage others to do the same. Doesn't "The Pavillion at Walnut Creek" sound better. Talk about a show at "Memorial Auditorium" not whatever name is currently slapped on it. I fear the day when children will return to their homes after visting Washington, DC and rave about having climbed all the way to the top of the Reobok Washington Monument, where they viewed the Smith And Wesson World War II Memorial.

As for Motley Crue - I have no opinion. ;)
