Crabtree Installs Dangerous Flooring
Crabtree Valley Mall executed a massive renovation about 15 years ago. Apparently the flooring in the Pavilion (food court) was worn, so the mall is replacing it. Unfortunately it is the slickest tile I’ve ever seen in a public place. The flooring is only partially installed, but should be aborted immediately because someone is going to fall and get seriously hurt.
Several years ago we witnessed a fairly old lady falling and breaking her hip in the old North Hills Mall. Her life (and her husband’s life) forever changed, the nice old couple was not litigious, but that was then. Certainly the mall’s risk management consultants (ie. “lawyers”) would agree with me. Be careful out there.
