Matlin Loves “Middle America”
In a , actress Marlee Matlin discusses her love for “roadside restaurants” such as (1,500-store international chain) The Waffle House and hotels in what she calls “Middle America”. The hotel she cites? Cary’s (Warning: Music), a coveted Five-Star experience offering rooms in the $300/night range. Wow! I wonder what she would think of my recent slummy trip: an $85/night room in the Westin next to Lenox Square.
