RBC Center Floor Melting Underway
Now that the Hurricanes’ season is over, there is no reason to super-chill the RBC Center. In most years the switch is flipped on the ice refrigeration system in the arena’s concrete floor. What we should see in the today is the biannual melting of the ice.
Note: There is a trap door in the floor on the north end. Usually the slush is pushed that way for disposal
