Rob Thomas Coming to Raleigh

On September 28 the ever-softening Rob Thomas will be playing a venue that is yet to be determined. (Didn’t Matchbox 20 play at the Ritz on their “Yourself or Someone Like You” tour?)

  There ain’t nothing softening on Rob Thomas! Have you heard his new CD, Cradlesong? It rocks!

  I heard it, and for what it is, it is well done. However what it is, is “soft rock” all the way. 101.5 will have a field day with the CD for approximately 25 months. However I don’t think it comes close to being as hard rock as the first Matchbox 20 CD, which was a marginal fit in 96Rock’s playlists.

  If you want to buy his new album Cradlesong, click Rob Thomas name as I named myself. I think album is cool. Some reviewers don’t like it, but I think they are spoiled.
