Plaza Cafe Open

The Plaza Cafe is now open. It is located in the base of the Progress Energy I tower.

In other news, assembly is going smoothly on the plaza’s pavilions and light towers. As seen in one of the photos, the towers have a brushed chrome finish and will be topped with swirly metal masses with triangular hoods.

    Plaza Cafe: Does it utilize all of the first floor facing “F-Street”? Is it a deli?

    It is only occupying a tiny space, right between the F-Street entrance for Progress Energy I and where the entrance to the old RBC Bank area was. If you blink, you’ll never know that it’s there!

    Thomas–Looks like it takes the part to the right of the main lobby entrance. The left half looks empty still.
