Wanna Watch the Final Four in 3D? Better Have Wheels
This year the Final Four is being brought to cinemas across America in 3D. Before you cry “gimmick!”, let me just tell you that the Panasonic 3D demo showing off their active shutter technology included some 3D basketball, and it was phenomenal. It wasn’t about balls coming out of the stands at you. It was about appreciating the depth of what was on the court. Yes, I would pay to see this.
Unfortunately the only theaters in North Carolina (so far) signed up to show this great event are:
Hopefully some more theaters close by will be added. It is promising that no theaters are included in Charlotte, the Triad, or the Triangle; the metro areas that comprise roughly half of the USA’s 10th largest state’s population. We’ll see…
