Awnings Coming To Capitol
In a move to make the State Capitol building more inviting, the State Committee on Tourism has elected to placed green and white striped awnings over all of the building’s windows. Some committee members were worried that the move would make the historic building look "too much like a Bennigan’s" while others argued "What’s wrong with Bennigan’s?" The committee also stated that the move would conserve energy even more than Low-e glass would, and makes a bold statement toward saving the environment.
