Follow NCSU Coaching Candidates on TV

Today Sidney Lowe officially resigns from his coaching post at N.C. State University, casting a new light on the NCAA and NIT tournaments for NCSU fans seeking the right coach. Back in January I posted a list of coaches who are fairly young and finding success at smaller schools. Some of these coaches continued to have excellent seasons, and others didn’t.

Let’s revisit this list, however, with the tournament schedules in mind. The list appears in the order in which each coach’s team will play over the next four nights.

Shaka Smart at VCU? I would hate to see my school lose another coach to a larger D-I program but the style he plays would be fun to watch, he recruits well, and he has been an assistant at Clemson and Florida.
